Martjack has one of the most flexible shipping and tax configuration options required for the online stores. Retailers have varied needs while doing shipping configuration to their online stores. In Martjack you can set up shipping charges bases on combination of delivery mode like ‘By Air’, ‘By Ground’, ‘Same day delivery ‘ and delivery regions like in ‘Metros’, ‘Domestic’, ‘Internationals’ etc. Martjack also give provision to set shipping charges based on ranges like for ‘1 to 5 Kg ‘ X amount/kg and ‘ 5 to 10 Kg’ Y amount/kg. By doing this consumer can be encouraged to by more quantity to reduce the shipping cost and hence cart value get increased.

  • Flexibility of shipping zone

      The shipping zones are Jurisdiction area, or area coverage for delivery of the products. It can be a City /Cities, State /States or country /countries.

      Retailer can set up multiple shipping zones as per their requirement for carrier companies.

      For example you can create a zone for Domestic in that delivery area can be selected as ‘Andhra Pradesh’, you can create another zone for National with delivery area as India and another zone as International with delivery area as US, UK, UAE etc.

      With this setup you can charge different shipping cost for Domestic, National and International

  • Flexibility of shipping modes

      Martjack provide options for creating different shipping modes based on Carrier Company’s agreement. The shipping mode is a way of shipping goods. More specifically, a shipping mode is the combination of a shipping carrier (which is a company that provides shipping services from a fulfilment centre to a customer), and the shipping service offered by that carrier. In the above scenario, your shipping carrier is ABC Shipping Services, and it offers three shipping services: ‘Overnight delivery’, ‘3 day delivery’, and ‘7 day delivery’.

  • Types of shipping configuration

      Item based shipping: With combination of zone and mode retailer can choose to set up shipping charges based on per item.  Example, for Heavy electronics products ‘domestic zone’ with ‘overnight delivery’ shipping charges will be X amount per item, however, for same zone with ‘3 day delivery’ shipping charges will be Y amount per item.

      Weight based shipping:  With combination of zone and mode retailer can choose to set up shipping charges based on weight.  Example, for light weight electronics products ‘domestic zone’ with ‘overnight delivery’ shipping charges will be X amount per Kg, however, for same zone with ‘3 day delivery’ shipping charges will be Y amount per Kg

      Cart Amount based shipping: With combination of zone and mode retailer can choose to set up shipping charges based on total cart value.  Example, for light weight electronics products ‘domestic zone’ with ‘overnight delivery’ shipping charges will be X amount if cart amount is greater than A amount, however, for same zone with ‘3 day delivery’ shipping charges will be Y amount if cart amount is greater than B amount

  • Integration with Courier companies

      Martjack has done API integration with leading carrier companies like Aramex, UPS. This helps to get real time shipping cost from the carrier companies based in delivery location and type of product. Retailer can charge shipping cost on actual amount charged by the courier company. Also facility has been provided to book the shipment through API integration with carrier companies and get delivery invoice with tracking number (Airway Bill No) to print.
